Jennifer Z. Cooper, M.D., graduated from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in WinstonSalem, NC. Dr. Cooper completed her Dermatology Residency at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY. Following residency, Dr. Cooper continued at the University of Rochester for fellowship training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology under Dr. Marc Brown. Dr. Cooper has served on the faculty of the University of Rochester and the University of Maryland. She graduated medical school with AOA honors and was named Chief Resident her final year of Dermatology Residency.

Dr. Cooper is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery.

Dr. Cooper's expertise is in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer and diseases of the skin, hair, and nails.

Jillian attended the Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing in Lewes, Delaware, where she received her diploma in nursing. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wilmington University, and later obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University, earning certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Jillian began her Nurse Practitioner career in vascular surgery and cardiology. She later transitioned into family practice, providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages and gaining extensive experience across a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.

Jillian is experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of dermatologic conditions including acne, atopic dermatitis, and psoriasis. She performs shave and punch biopsies as well as skin cancer screenings. Jillian has been working alongside Dr. Cooper since 2024 and currently sees patients Tuesday through Friday at the Ocean View office. She is also actively working toward certification as a Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner (DCNP) to further advance her expertise in dermatologic care.
